Acting For Film

 

Course Overview:

 

Acting for Film - Level 1 is our original screen-acting course and has been developed for those who wish to develop their performance skills for the medium of film. Previous experience is welcomed although not always required.
 
Taught by a professional actor and professional film director along with leading drama coaches, you will act in a series of filmed exercises that will be analysed in class so that you can improve your performances as the course progresses. You will also learn what it is like to be on the other side of the camera by directing and acting as crew (operating the camera, recording sound) on a number of short exercises. More Details

Advanced Acting for Film

 

Course Overview:

 

Acting for Film - Level 2 has been developed for actors who want to build on their performance experience. The emphasis is on developing your full potential as a film actor to help you pursue a career in the industry. One-to-one and group sessions will be supplemented with masterclasses with professional directors, casting directors and producers.
 
Whether your immediate ambition is to get a place at drama school, find an agent or enter the industry straight away, you will receive personal attention and guidance from a professional actor and director and experienced voice and movement coaches to help you achieve your goal. More Details

Part-Time Acting for Film

 

Course Overview:

 

Part-Time Acting for Film is aimed at all those wishing to learn or develop their existing acting skills for the medium of film, but who cannot commit to a full-time schedule.

 

Taught by an acting coach and professional film director over the course of 12 weeks on two evenings per week, you will learn core acting skills as well as all the technical skills necessary for you to perform confidently in front of a camera.

 

You will act in filmed exercises and also shoot exercises yourselves so that you know what it is like to be on the other side of the camera. More Details

Course Overview:

 

Introduction to Acting for Film is a great taster weekend course for those who are new to acting as well as those with some theatre experience looking to brush up on their skills in front of the camera.

 

You will take part in short filmed scenes and will receive feedback to help make your performance in front of the camera as relaxed and natural as possible.

 

You will be taught by a professional acting coach who will introduce you to the basic differences between acting for screen and acting on stage while giving you an insight into what goes on behind the camera. More Details
