The Met Film School does not offer student accommodation. However, London offers a  variety of accommodation options for short-stay students. Depending on your budget and your preferred level of independence, you may prefer to stay either in a hotel, bed and breakfast, self-catering apartment or student residence.

Student Oyster Photocards can be bought for use within London on trains, underground, buses and the London Docklands Light Railway. If you travel regularly on public transport it will be cheaper to buy a travelcard rather than single tickets. Transport for London (TFL) offers a student travelcard which gives a 30% discount to full-time students over the age of 18. Travel costs are dependent upon the zone you will be travelling from. So for instance, a travelcard for Zones 1-6 will be required to travel from Zone 6. Met Film School is located in Zone 3 at Ealing Studios, West London.

Central Studios Ealing, will be the closest accomodation near our London campus from September 2014. It is a  brand new student accomodation development offering: high speed internet, WiFi throughout the accomodation, a great range of social spaces, on site management and accomodation priced with bills included. Contact CSEaling@freshstudentliving.co.uk for more information.

We have a relationship with Central Studios allowing our students to get £200 off their bookings made up to May 31st  2014.

We also  have a relationship with Britannia Student Services, who provide the widest range of student accommodation in London, including homestays, flatshares and halls of residence. Please contact them directly for a full list of services and rates.

If you are doing the two year BA or the One- Year Practical Filmmaking programme, you can apply for accommodation through University of West London's Paragon or Student Village Housing in Ealing. Both sites are in the heart of West London and are easily accessible from Met Film School as well as being only a short journey into central London. For more information go to their website or call them on +44 (0)20 8231 2573.

Another option is the International Students House, based in Regents Park, central London and about a 40 minute journey from the Met Film School. ISH has a large variety of accommodation and great facilities, student services and an array of membership benefits.

The Curve provides fully furnished en-suite rooms which are now in their second year of occupation. The property is managed by CRM with a full on site team. CRM is one of the leading independent managers of direct let student accommodation in the United Kingdom. The vibrant location is popular with students studying at all Central London Universities and colleges.

HFS London is a British Council registered agency and specialises in Homestay accommodation for international students, interns or professionals in London and is another option for our students.

Please Note: Please note: If you have been accepted onto any of the degree or one-year programmes, a forum login will be assigned to you after you have confirmed your booking. This will enable you to get in touch with fellow Met Film School students and is particularly useful if you want to consider the possibility of sharing privately with new students (who may also be looking for potential flatmates).
