Armen Antranikian


Another graduate of our One-Year Practical Filmmaking course, Armen  Antranikian has gone on to further study,  found success with a number of his short films and was recently named a ‘Director to Watch’ by MovieScope magazine.

After completing his course at the Met Film School, Armen enrolled at the Skillset Screen Academy at LCC, part of the University of the Arts London.

Armen has completed a string of successful films, some of which have been shown at renowned festivals and on television. One-Minute Guide to Planet Earth won a Jury Commendation at Filminute, the international one-minute film festival. Kubrick, a short film commissioned by Channel4, premiered as part of the Stanley Kubrick season.

During his visit to the Cannes Film Festival in 2008, Armen sold two of his films to global distributor Ouat Media. Currently, he is working on a short film titled Alice Alive – a sci-fi romantic comedy about a teenage boy and female android. He is also developing his first feature project – a psychological thriller set around a single location.
