What/Which courses do you teach at the Met Film School?
What is one thing about your field of expertise or filmmaking in general that excites you?
I believe that although you can't 'teach' talent you can teach people the skills to express their best selves on camera.
Do you have any links to your past/current projects (youtube link, url)?
I am a freelance TV producer and director, for clips and news see my website www.emmalindley.net
How would you describe your time teaching at the School? What do you think is the most challenging element of the course you teach?
I love teaching at the Met as it informs my own work as a director and because it is a real community of film makers.
The most challenging element of class - for students and teachers - is to be 100 percent present in every conversation and in every exercise! But it's how you get results...
What are the key attributes you look for in a student?
Positivity. Punctuality (boring but it counts!). Preparation and focus.
Any useful tips for aspiring filmmaker?
Be positive. Be proactive. Listen to other people and then listen to yourself. Keep making films.
How can we get in touch with you?
You can email me at Info@emmalindley.net
