How to apply for the BA Course

Filming workshop

If you are a UK resident you must first apply through UCAS (www.ucas.ac.uk)

Students will be asked to submit an additional application form directly to the school as well as attend an interview if their application is successful. However, the deadline for UCAS applications is mid-January so students wanting to apply after this date can do so straight to the Met Film School.

If you live outside of the UK you will need to send an application form directly to the Met Film School.  You will be invited to interview if your application is successful.  This can take place over the phone if you are not able to attend in person.

If you are an EU resident and you wish to secure your place on this course you will need to pay a 20% deposit at the time of booking. You will then need to pay another 50% of the remaining course fee four weeks later and the remaining first year's course fee will be paid six weeks before the course start date.  The second year's course fee must be paid at the beginning of term one in year two of the programme. Your payment schedule will be detailed in your offer letter if you are accepted onto the programme.

If you live outside of the EU you will need to pay the first year's course fee in full at the time of booking.  We will then be able to supply the student with an acceptance letter so they can apply for a student visa.

Please note there are no deadlines for application but places are awarded very quickly so apply as soon as you can.

Tom Mallory

Recently, the Metropolitan Film School helped One-Year Practical Filmmaking student Tom gain work in the film industry on graduating. Only two weeks after finishing at the Metropolitan Film School, Tom was accepted onto a highly competitive two-month internship with Ealing Studios’ production company Fragile Films. “I got the job thanks to the Met who organised the interview for me”. Tom is also currently applying to the LFS post graduate course to continue his studies.
