Course Overview:

This is a perfect course for anyone wanting to get a first taster of filmmaking. Combining film workshop and group instruction, this course has been designed to provide a fun, hands-on introduction to the basics of direction, cinematography, lighting, sound and editing and will equip you with basic technical knowledge in each of these areas. You will then put this knowledge into practice in a series of shooting and editing exercises designed to help you learn through practical experience. You will direct professional actors as part of the production of a short film which will subsequently be sent to you on DVD.
