Course Overview:
Have you ever acted in a school play or in amateur theatre? Would you like to find out how stage performance differs from acting in front of the camera? If you're between 14 and 18 years old and you'd like to learn how to act in the movies, then this unique acting academy has been designed for you.
The three-week course will take place at our facilities in Ealing Studios, and will be taught by a professional acting coach. You will learn acting skills as well as the technical skills necessary for you to act confidently in front of a camera. You will act in filmed exercises and also shoot exercises yourselves so that you know what it is like to be on the other side of the camera. The course will be challenging, requiring a lot of hard work from you but it will also be fun and extremely rewarding.
Learning Objectives:
If you're more interested in the filmmaking side, rather than being in front of the camera, check out our Young Filmmakers Academy

(From Story To Screen In Eight Weeks) has begun shooting his first feature film as a producer in Paris. Currently titled Jack Says, the film is based on a popular comic series and the film is faithful to the graphic, film noir look which has seen revived popularity in recent years with films such as Sin City. The film stars Eric Cantona, Aurelie Amblard, Rula Lenska and Mike Reid.
