Ealing Studios – the perfect environment to learn the art and craft of filmmaking
Our modern premises and facilities are located within the world-famous Ealing Studios in West London. Ealing Studios is best-known for productions in the 1940s and 1950s such as The Ladykillers, The Lavender Hill Mob and Kind Hearts and Coronets.
In recent years Ealing Studios have been used for high-profile productions such as Star Wars: Episode Two, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, The Importance of Being Earnest, Notting Hill and Woody Allen’s Wasp.

The school is open until 10 pm four nights per week during which time you can continue to work on your projects.
You will be given all the equipment you need to make an exhibition-quality short film to High Definition (HD/HDV) standard, including professional camera, sound and lighting equipment.

This ensures we only teach the most relevant and up-to-date content, and often leads to job opportunities in our other businesses for graduates. Met Film Production develops and produces a number of feature films each year; Met Film Creative offers a range of creative and production services for film, TV and corporate clients; and Met Film Post is a leading post production business, specialising in end-to-end sound and picture post. All students finish the final online grade and sound mix on their graduation films a tMet Film Post, ensuring the highest possible production standards.

(One-Year Practical Filmmaking) short film Pulse has won two awards for Best Foreign Film and Outstanding Screenplay at the Dixie Film Festival in Atlanta. The film has also been selected as the only UK student short to be screened in Official Selection at the European Independent Film Festival in Paris. Pulse was the first film Emma made on her course at the Met. 'Pulse' is a fantasy romance with darkly comic elements which sees a man become addicted to giving himself electric shocks when he discovers they provide a means of contact with his dead wife. Congratulations to Emma!
