I've completed my film, where can I get it exhibited?

Film screening

Screenings
Exhibition opportunities for short film are notoriously limited. It is a good idea to hold a cast and crew screening soon after the completion of your film, where can also invite selected industry professionals as well as potential sales agents.

Most production facilities offer a screening facility and have favourable rates for first-time or short film makers. Some independent cinemas also offer a screening facility so it´s worthwhile checking all options before making your decision.

If you decide to invite people associated with industry (and not directly with your film) then choose a central location early in the evening to ensure a full house!

Online
Shorts International are the worlds largest short film specialists. It is continuing to acquire titles for its award winning international catalogue of short films. Working hard to expand the number of distribution outlets for short film, they supply content to over ninety syndication partners worldwide.

If you have made a short film, you can download the form at www.britshorts.com and send the information along with a DVD or VHS copy. You do not need to submit your Master, stills, press packs etc at this stage.

If your film is selected, the acquisitions department will send you a license agreement that requires exclusive distribution rights over the licensing period and a detailed breakdown of the delivery materials that we require.
